The navigation preferences gives you several options:
- Empty folders are indicated next to folder name. Altough this is handy information it has a performace impact so use it wisely.
- Select first item after folder is listed: is handy navigation option when you are navigating through folder structure using arrows. With this option on you only hit RIGHT_ARROW subsequenly to dive deeper in the folder tree.
- Navigate to open: RIGHT_ARROW opens the file (same as double click). Turn this off if you want to quicly traverse the folder tree and stop on the file rather then opening it.
